I think this was already mentioned, but why not just pull the last
minute of data out of the RODOPI DB?  Unless you've got some horrible
network latency between your VOPRadius server and RODOPI SQL server, OR
one (or both) servers are overloaded, it should be as "real time" as you
can get.

Well since you ask, I suppose I can.

I am not arguing, just thinking out loud.

I am not running Maxstat or other SNMP software now so I would have to
do
that, then take that output and parse it.

I was wondering if I someone (Vircom?) would tell me a simple way to get
the
info from an existing source, (VOPradius), since it is already there.

I may "just" rename the VOP accounting log to "parse.file" every minute,
parse it, feed the data out to a port, erase the file, and do it again
in 30
seconds.

My long term  data is in Rodopi database anyway, so I don't see that I
am
loosing anything.

Anybody see excessive stupidity in this approach? (Don't be shy, speak
up.)
