I'd wait a few month for the 802.16a standard equipment to start making out into the market.  You will then be able to mix and match vendors equipment.  It is supposed to have 70Mb Non LOS.

I think the wireless issues are a bit deeper than we are hitting on here.

For example, depending on the system you select to deliver your wireless, it is difficult to reach 100% of your targeted market, especially if they are residential and in a very mature neighborhood with lots of large trees.  Sure, we’ve seen some companies that will install a 40 ft telescopic mast on the roof to reach a signal, but in my opinion this is asking for trouble.  (We are in hurricane country – your mileage may vary)

Until we began using non-line of sight wireless, we were only able to reach approximately 50% of the residential customers that requested our service. I did not consider this an acceptable ratio.

Then came the interference issues between our system and the local school district.  Since they had wireless established first, they had the airway right-of way (in their opinion).

Wireless works and works well, but it brings a whole new set of issues to your business that must be dealt with.

Just so you are informed  <grin>
