And then none of them can game or network with the neighbor (your customer
as well) because they're all getting an ip within the same subnet but are
all behind a separate gateway. Wheee, I'll take PPPoE!

Also, Sprint requires PPPoE because they use Redback DSL Agg's. If your
customers username is FRED, he would enter [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sprint uses
the @yourdomain.com to determine which ISP to route the traffic to (all over
a single PVC).

We use VOPradius with Sprint DSL and use a Cisco Router as the access
server. We assign both filtered and unfiltered ip blocks based on radius
profiles specified through our billing system (Rodopi). Works great.

The short answer is YES, everything you want to do is possible and fairly
simple depending on your setup.

Brian,

You CAN use your RADIUS server to assign the IP numbers.

But, you don't really need to use RADIUS at all unless you need to
authentication by username/password. If you skip the authentication, you
can have the cisco handle the dhcp. With this approach customers don't have
a username/password for access. You don't need to install a connector on
their computer, and they don't have a username/password to remember. (Cut's
down on tech support calls.)
