Attention customers
using the following setup:
* ODBC Database as
the authentication data source
* Using the
"Expiration-Date" field in the database AND where the value is set to something
higher than 01/18/2038.
There is a known
issue with VOP Radius 4.0 involving the "Expiration-Date" field under Radius
Server Tab --> ODBC Setup --> Table Column Name Definitions. If you are
using an ODBC database for your authentication data source and if the field
representing the "Expiration-Date" has a value higher than 01/18/2038, the user
will be rejected. In versions of VOP Radius earlier than 3.5 this bug was not
present.
Until a fix can be
made customers are recommended to delete the value in the "white box" next to
"Expiration-Date" under the Authentication ODBC Setup. There is an update on the
website in the download section. Although the release notes have a note for a
fix with the "Expiration-Date", this is a separate issue.
Thank-you
Andrew
