It sure could help! I think a much bigger help would be if the X-Prize people follow through and offer a $100 million prize for an easily replicable cold fusion experiment. That's what the X-Prize honcho talked about at ICCF24. I have no idea whether that will happen, or whether it is hot air, but I think he said they will decide this year. That would get people's attention! Money talks. If large sums become available, you can bet that every anti-cold fusion physicist will suddenly believe in cold fusion, and they will be lined up for grants. As Stan Szpak said, scientists believe whatever you pay them to believe.
