I wrote:

I meant: "IT IS the effect you want . . ."

Great writers did not have to put up with voice input, either, those lucky duckies. I have not heard that Joseph Conrad said he married his wife, because, he said, "she is a good typist." (He was a dour fellow, and I wouldn't put it past him.)
