During the Clinton years, I heard that almost the only inventions that were
classified were related to crypto. NSA did not want advanced crypto systems
public.
Since this administration came to power that may have changed, possibly
dramatically.

Interesting that there are about 5000 patents which have been sequestered
by Uncle Sam.... most probably relate to arms and explosives... but...
Wonder how many of them related to energy? Notice that DoE puts in about
3-4 orders in some years - now, just what kind of invention could be seen
as a national "threat" by DoE ????
