Howdy Jed,

We have been watching the weather conditions in your part of the USA. Locally, we have finally had increased rainfall sufficent to overcome some 25 years of drouth. The highland lakes are in flood stage and the hill country acquifers are recharging ( Edwards acquifer , etc.).

Weather patterns are strange beasts. Apparently something happened around 1100-1400 AD in the southwest USA if traces of the indian culture are indicative. One of the strangest artifacts I noticed in New Mexico museums were "effigies". One was woven of straw in the shape of a Llama, a species native to South America alone.. A near likeness that couldn't be mistaken for any other type animal..
Hmmm.

Richard
