Howdy Jones,
A clue may be the ancient calendar of 360 days. Once knew an old geologist from
bygone times with his head firmly stuck in the 19th century that allowed he
could accept the earth changed. from a time of 360 day to 365 1/4. His theory
was that Mars came too close to the earth, stripping off Mars water which also
caused the earth flood and to increase in diameter and thus rotation speed
slowed which settled at 365 1/4 days give or take.
He spent a lot of time in the field and also at Grand Canyon studying the
formations stripped away by water velocity and allowed he couldn't see a canyon
forming from a slow trickle , but water velocity fron the kind of downpour
like a Mars strripping event would sure do it.
He also allowed the best "hour glass" time clock he ever saw was at White Sands
New Mexico. Rain leaches gypsum from the Mountain and the wind carries the
fine grains of gypsum northeast at the rate of x feet per century whereas he
calculated the swath of sand in miles and estimated the "hourglass' worked out
around 8- 10 thousand years.. hmm. When I mentioned this could get him kicked
out of his Goelogy teaching job at the University of Houston.. he smiled and
asked me to give him better alternate reason that made sense and he'd buy it.
I mentioned we were working with a water well driller over in Dayton Texas back
a few years. Their drill rig bit hit an upright cypress tree some 600 feet
below ground in the San Jacinto River bottom. They core drilled a piece and
later drilled thru some 175 feet of cypress tree. Must have hit it dead
center. I don't believe in spooks either.

  Correction:

OOps in trying to get the Schumann up to the "FTE" interval - that is too
approximate to be valid as the seconds to minutes factor was ignored and it
screws everything up.

Apologies and forget the Schumann as being relevant to a "natural interval"
even though the FTE might possibly be relevant by itself.
