So, one oddity confirmed, Mark LeClair's report was accurate. Sergio Lebid's nephew was a Secret Service agent who died saving a bus full of kids. A hero.

Good heavens. I feel bad for poking fun at the claim. It is humbling and embarrassing.

From the news report, it does not seem the agent deliberately put himself in harm's way. He just happened to be driving alongside the bus and his car absorbed most of the kinetic energy from the crash. Still, unwittingly or not, he was sacrificed.

(It doesn't say there were kids on the bus. It says "tour bus." But let's not quibble.)
