Would it not be true that if Rossi and/or Defkalion are at all truthful, then the whole issue of LENR research is moot? Won't it bloom rapidly, without DOE support, if that's proven to be the case? And if they're not, won't all the credulousness exhibited in the support they've been shown hurt the field?
