We noticed that several questions were raised in other forums or sites related with our public announcements during NI week and ICCF17. Here are the answers to such raised questions so far: *One of the co-author of your paper presented at ICCF17, Aris Chatzichristos, is from National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). Is it possible to say that the Hyperion tests and results were endorsed, checked, by NTUA ? What is your relation with NTUA, and with Mr Chatzichistos?* Mr Aris Chatzichristos is still affiliated with NTUA as well as with our company, working in one of our labs as independent researcher. Our company does not have any signed contract with NTUA related with our R&D. *In some communications, direct or indirect, it seems that you claimed that the independent testing results would be published after certification of the reactor. Is it right ? can you give precision ? can you give probable interval of time?* Existing and on-going independent testing results on Hyperion lab prototypes will be released by third parties and our company, when we feel secured. Certification on Hyperion industrial prototypes has been re-scheduled for end 2012. *Beside the independent test report, do you plan to make a public demonstration, or make a public speech, participate to forum or conference?* There is no such scheduled event at the moment. An open invitation to follow testing of Hyperions is valid to anyone that wish to attend following a NDA, in our active R&D labs in Vancouver (within September) and/or Athens. *Your pulse modulation method to control your reactor, can look strange for some people. Can you give explanation, references, similar cases to explain that choice and help us understand how it works ?* We can not release more info on this issue due to patents preparation. *The kind of foam that you show in your slides seems identical to "ecocatalysis" nickel foam. It is this one? a similar one ? You talk about treatments used to protect the RSH in transit to NAE ; do you have (patented?) complementary treatments to change the nanostructure of the foam ? Do you have an idea of the manufacture cost of the fuel ?* It is not in our policy to disclose the suppliers of our materials. As for the question if/or how we treat the foam nickel in use, we will not provide more info than what released in the ICCF17 paper. The retail cost of this material is around 85euro/sqm plus VAT. *In your presentations, and in buzz around your reactor, some (past or present) problem about longevity of the spark plug are evocated. Newly designed spark plug are evocated. Is it already solved? can you comment?* We are working on this material related problem, based on new specs we developed for such special purpose "spark plugs" during our stress tests over the last months. We expect from our suppliers new such components for testing within September . *In your papers and Interviews, weak gamma about 50-300keV, around background level, are discussed, mostly on starting. Can you already roughly estimate the dose that could be added to people around, assuming a 10-50kW reactor in the basement, annually, compared to natural doses, to existing safety standards ? It looks, annually integrated, as really negligible , is it true ? Or is some shielding needed? And for big MW units, will it be noticeable, requiring shielding, or still negligible ?* The maximum dose of such emissions, when measured, was lower than 0,02μS/h. The rest of questions have already been answered in several topics in viewforum.php?f=23<http://www.defkalion-energy.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=23> *Some commenters, analyzing the illustrations labview pictures, have guessed that the COP shown was less than published in the paper. Can you comment and explain those image, the context and meaning of the numbers shown.* In the ICCF17 paper we *did not* release any full set of test data as far as: 1) Such tests data will be released and confirmed by third parties, before any release from our company 2) Such data would require extensive description of the setup of instrumentation, the geometry of the tested reactor as well as full description of the protocol in use. The above were out of the scope of our released paper, which was to introduce our understanding on the triggered reactions and a first report on results in calorimetry/performance and observed transmutations to the scientific community following ICCF. In this paper, there is a general description on the instrumentation setup and a reference to the guidelines/calorimetry setup that we followed 100%. The screen shots in Appendix of our ICCF17 paper refer to different runs/protocols and are presented as indicative on the methods/protocols in use when testing the Hyperion lab R5 prototypes. Please also note that such tested Hyperion lab prototypes (R5) were designed for testing/optimizing triggering and the materials in use only. They are not optimized, by design, for their performance. Such optimized for performance reactors will appear in the market following their forthcoming certification on safety.
