I have the same sad vision. No hope from mainstream science to accept LENR before it fund mainstream labs with millions, hit the dow Jones.
The real point is to let a chance to businessmen to see the opportunity around LENR. The problem with patho-skeptical trolls is not that you cannot convince them in any way, it is that they may convince naive and uninformed rational innovators not to look at LENR. I don't expect any businessman to believe in LENR as-is, but they can dump LENR without looking. What I home is that innovators look at that domain as a controversy, where they have to get answers. Then they will call people, read papers, meet people, and finally ask for private tests...
