And I suspect that positive feedback magnetic coupling among the sites associated with the energy release mechanism allows that field to grow to the high strength level. It seems likely that some systems, such as that of DGT, need a threshold level of coupling before the positive feedback loop gain exceeds unity which is required for increasing field levels. This effect may well be the one that separates the weak power producing devices from those of Rossi and others.
