One thing I forgot to add yesterday, in re: speculation about the proton and electron structure being derived from fractional charged 'particles' in another enfolded dimension, all fitting into Dirac's equations...
When I said: "Modern followers of Dirac try to frame reality into various aspects of the *epo* the electron-positron pair. For a proton to be formed this way, i.e. from epos, the 918 electrons and 918 positrons would have to condense within what appears to be the same space (from our perspective which will be called 3-space) -but done in such a way that only the charge of a single positron was evident." This was not intended to mean that Dirac-ophiles ignore the *quark.* Nor do they ignore *strings.* In fact both of these are part of the package - just a lesser part, as they are located in an intermediate dimension, and are not fundamental at all. If only the epo is fundamental, going down to at least five dimensions, then the 918 electrons and 918 positrons would appear as 3 quarks in another dimension (probably 2-space) and then as 1 proton in our 3-space. IOW in 2-space, each quark would have 306 epos but going further into the enfolded dimensions, we would eventually find the full complement of 918 pairs. This would probably appear in an enfolded dimension which is related to ours by a fifth power, since the mass of either the electron or positron is a factor of 6(pi^5) away form the proton. The 6(pi^5) should be an approximate toroidal string in the 3rd enfolded fractal of 1-space. Jones
