Jones Beene,  marvel not, historically we entertain opposition in science
and in particular in the USA. In final form, it energizes , it only firms
our commitment. When money and power are present, hold onto your chair. When
unlimited money and power are present... leave the room.. there are no
winners in the poker game.. the game is rigged. Keep in mind it is not the
only game in town. As you witness the "wane" of certain research facilities
you notice the " rise" of others. For example, tiny Rice University in
Houston is "rising". They are making the correct moves by selecting certain
new trustees..
