I am uploading the papers slowly because I have to contact the
authors and ask permission, and most authors do not respond. That was the
agreement I made with Dr. Li. I hope that in future ICCF conferences, and
other academic conferences, it will be taken for granted that all papers
will be put on the Internet. It makes no sense to distribute papers any
other way. That was brought home to me today when I mailed out several
printed copies of the book. It costs a fortune in postage! Especially for
the ones I mailed overseas.
I have about 20 copies of the book left. I do not plan to print more,
because in small quantities (25 to 50), it costs more than $25 each to
print and mail them, and I cannot see trying to sell them for $30 when
anyone can download a copy for free. So far ~800 copies have been
downloaded.
