Don't know much about "CSETI".

As for "SETI" go to: http://www.setileague.org

The organization has been headed by its creator, Richard Factor, an
entrepreneur of advance electronic equipment such as those used in video delay
feeds. See "Eventide Inc." at: http://eventide.com/. Think of Janet Jackson's
recent "bear it all" debacle on TV - the one that permanently scarred for life
the lives of countless small innocent children because they saw a little extra
bit of... (yeah, right!) That unfortunate event turned out to be a most
fortunate turn of events as far as Eventide Inc. was concerned. Everyone wanted
a video delay feed.

As for SETI's objective, it is my understanding that the organization has
attempted to detect evidence of background EM "detritus" of extraterrestrial
civilizations through the detection of specific frequencies such as within the
microwave realm. I think they are trying to perform their searches in such a
way as to not upset the scientific establishment and the prevailing paradigms
concerning the matter of ETs, whether they exist or not. I'm not an expert on
these EM fields so don't quote me! ;-)

Maybe they will eventually find something, maybe not. Who knows. In the
meantime SETI serves another useful purpose for Mr. Factor.

Tax dodge.
