A conference titled "Research Developments and Future of the Country" will be held at Sala del Sanato, EX Hotel Bologna, Rome, 0n 23 June 2005.

The Convention will start with address by Mr. S. Bondi, National Coordination of Italian Energy, and Mr. G. Frigerio, Responsible person of Italian National Energy Department. Mr. G. Possa, Vice-Minister, Ministry of Education, Universities and Scientific Research will have a presentation on Mission of Government for potential of research. Then two round table (RT) talks are arranged.

Dompe (President, Union of Pharmaceutical Companies), Dr. F. Zofrea (President, Eni-Technology), Dr. M. Turbini (Vice president, Siemens Information), Dr. F. Celani (Team Leader, National Institute of Nuclear Physics) and Prof. A. Takahashi (President, Int. Society for Condensed Matter Nuclear Science).

Concluding remark will be made by Vice Premier (Vice Prime Minister) G. Tremonti and Mr. L. Moratti (Minister, Ministry of Education, Universities and Scientific Research).

Dr. F. Celani will talk on the Italian-Japanese Project on "Cold Transmutation of Radioactive Wastes", Sr and Cs based on the MHI Iwamura Method. Prof. Takahashi will talk briefly on theoretical interpretation for transmutations including Iwamura experiments.
