Hi Steven,

Sam has been pursuing this since probably about 1992
or so.

The coils shown, and most of his recent winding work,
have been with white, two conductor bulk lamp cord,
stranded copper, probably 14 gau. He buys in large
rolls locally. The nice thing about "zip cord" -
stranded lamp cord - is that you automatically have a
bifilar material. If you need or want one conductor,
peel the other one away.

Sam has also wound arrays out of fiber optic cable,
nylon rope, speaker wire, and even rubber hose filled
with electrolytes of exotoc and not so exotic sort.
