Jed... Ahhh!!! Mark Twain, one of my favorite people.. Imagine the scenario he could write for todays news... Where is Will Rogers when we need him.   Circa 1929  imaginary scenario,, the remains of the Al Capone gang sitting around the warehouse in Chicago " grilling" an underling hanging by his thumbs..                     " Now tell me one more time what happened to the money. You say you invested it in the stock market, you had in in the bank, now you say the bank closed and the stock market collapsed.. and you expect me to believe you.. kid? I sent you to Yale law school and Harvard Business for your MBA.... now you tell me the moneys gone.. drag him outa here and dump him in the river. Whats gone wrong with our country when we worked so hard for our money and somebody takes it."   Circa 2005 imaginary scenario.. the remains of the Chinese Mao gang sitting around the table in Peking " grilling" an underling hanging by his thumbs..             " Now tell me one more time what happened to the money. You say we are selling the US 15 billion more than we are buying from them and we cant collect the money. You try to tell me they talked you into buying their treasury notes or whatever they use for money.... and you let Bank of America buy 10% of our China bank using this funny money called dollars. Now you tell me we can't collect our money cause if we try they can't buy anything else from us and we will have to close our factories... and you expect me to believe you kid?  I sent you to Yale law school and Harvard Business school for your MBA.. Now you tell me the moneys gone. Drag him outa here and dump him in the river. Whats gone wrong with our country when we worked so hard for our money and somebody takes it.
