Until such time as we know with certainty, all of the following
remarks should probably be prefaced with the disclaimer "assuming
the posted measurements of JLN are correct"....
Anyway, I think there is a good chance that they are not that far
off, assuming that it is true that the filament resistance at 2000
K is one ohm....therefore.... moving on, and looking at the broad
issue of resonance in the MAHG, we find three vastly different
geometric scales.
1) The input frequency 40-51 Hz (modified by the low duty cycle
5%)
2) The collisional frequency of the H2 gas fill 5-10 Ghz
3) the heat frequency of the output - in the terahertz range
What do you make of it, Watson? Is "coherency" the key....
More clues later,

"A cipher message, Holmes."
My companion gave a sudden chuckle of comprehension. "And a very
obscure cipher, Watson," said he. "Why, of course, it is French!
"I believe you have hit it."
"Not a doubt of it. It is a very urgent message, thrice repeated
to make it more so. But beware of what? Wait a bit; he is coming
to the window once more."
Again we saw the dim silhouette of a crouching man and the whisk
of the small flame across the window as the signals were renewed.
They came more rapidly than before-so rapid that it was hard to
follow them.
