I found this on the clock hypothesis: http://math.ucr.edu/home/baez/physics/Relativity/SR/experiments.html#5.%20Twin%20paradox "The clock hypothesis states that the tick rate of a clock when measured in an inertial frame depends only upon its velocity relative to that frame, and is independent of its acceleration or higher derivatives." Are we not dealing with an accelerated frame, rather than an inertial one, in the Sagnac effect?
