Since when did Australia become a socialist country. ;-) Yes, I worked on one of the first "load shedding" systems for Cobb County EMC back in the 70s. The Co-ops get some serious ratchets in the price when their peak increases. I'm not sure how you would guarantee compliance. Some people need their car at night.
