I do not think this could be done without the government and industry being on board. Also both political parties. That is another reason it will happen gradually. It is now underway in Switzerland, I hope. If it works well there, the system will spread to other countries. It is the de facto system in Sweden and elsewhere already. We have something similar in the U.S. in the form of the Social Security system. We just need to extend it downward and upward. It should apply to everyone under 18. And then everyone from 55 to the end of life. And then, finally, everyone, everywhere. - Jed
