Both zeolites and Raney nickel have intrigued researchers over the years in the context of reactivity with hydrogen at nanoscale dimensions, but many experiments have come up short… well, not really short but unconvincing. Many experiments with zeolites and Raney nickel seem to show low COP in the range of 1.1 to 1.2 which is still in the noise level but begging for more research.
