Wow.... breathtaking amount of dialogue and work you did there....a noble
effort.
I think the whole essence of it is as you say here:

It would seem to me, that if a man does not want to accept something new,
he can find an infinite number of ways to remain fixed in his opinion.
Someday these Wiki-skeptics are going to have a rude awakening.
