You say that the magnets fly away with high speed using the spin energy. Does this outward linear motion occur after the magnet falls to the table and makes contact with it in some manner? Otherwise one might expect the magnet to spin rapidly as it drops towards the tabletop with a modest amount of horizontal velocity.
