Purchase a good computer virus protection program, and use it according to
instructions. Be sure you run a complete check of your computer. It can be
difficult to rid a computer of a virus once it gets in.

The virus might have infected your e-mail files at montclair.edu. Inform
them.

Change your password. Use a strong password. NEVER use it anywhere else.

Gmail has a 2-step verification procedure, but I do not think this would
prevent the problem, because these messages are not actually coming from
your account.
