March 2016 marks 5 years since room-temperature superconductivity (RTSC) was
first achieved by a researcher named Joe Eck and he is pissed - but the 27
years for LENR is more intolerable.

This anniversary is bittersweet for RTSC as the scientific community
persistently refuses to accept, vet or even investigate Eck's claims but
neither do they actively oppose it as with LENR. There are 35 compounds
discovered so far by Superconductors.ORG which show evidence of RTSC. Sound
familiar?

Eck would like to shame the general Scientific community with in-your-face
evidence, but not as much so as the LENR community would like to shame the
purveyors of big-budget boondoggles like ITER/NIF etc, etc. Over $100
billion down the drain . and less net gain over input than P&F showed on day
1, in 1989,

Back to RTSC. Now there are tests which indicate operation above 150C/300F.
In LENR there could be something similar, in the sense of the "local
superconductivity" of SPP.

"Local superconductivity" happens at the nano level and is lossless current
at extreme temperatures resulting in huge magnetic fields, but the end
result is antiferromagnetism, for which it is harder to find an application.

It would be helpful to join forces and apply RTSC to LENR, as there would be
benefit which is not obtainable via antiferromagnetism. but as they say on
the street, stink flows downhill. and guess who is at the bottom of the
credibility gap. LENR will not be getting much help from anyone - and
success must be found on our own.

Rossi is not likely to help - except in the unlikely event of a rock-solid
independent result of the year-long test. A report full of holes like the
Lugano fiasco will be devastating.
