It appears from various threads that the issue of ionizing radiation emissions is still unsettled.
That could bring up yet more NIMBY-ism. For example, I bought a gift that was a glow in the dark keychain, powered by tritium. I had to buy it off Ebay from Britain as the US is too phobic to allow practical tritium lights for sale. It’s ridiculous.
