Here is a side comment on that. Last evening I was over at Stanford for a meeting of a new group focusing on nuclear and lattice energy alternatives: Stanford Energy Club or SEC, not to be confused with football. It was an interesting meeting with short talks by Fran Tanzella, Carl Page, Alan Goldwater, Bob Greenyer and others. Greenyer mentioned in passing that Holmlid had been asked to provide ICF targets for Livermore. Wow. That is a major development if he got it right.

I did not have time to stay for Q&A to find out more. Maybe something will turn up today.

I wonder if Holmlid performed, LLNL tested, and a report is forthcoming. That would answer many looming questions about Holmlid.
