Jones— I also have thought that Cooper pairs of protons, acting as a bose particle with 2 electrons (neutral), may be involved in LENR. That was my original thought in 1989 with respect to the Pd face-center lattice and high magnetic susceptibility.
It would to know if the potential energy of that arrangement is less than the normal Pd-H configuration. I have read his book and determined that his theory violates causality. When I questioned him on that, he agreed, and said he had ideas how that might be fixed, but it is a problem with what he has presented in his book. The other two articles have no new news.
