It's just that the smarter companies are not trying to pitch cf to the public. They realize the need for qualified, high-capacity investors and they are working quietly, behind the scenes with private money.

I know of no serious cf R&D entity that has a Web presence. For example, the company Ed Storms works with, and the company that Yang now works with. Those that truly appear to have viable technology are working fast and furious with their R&D > dev > app process and are hoping to keep a low profile so they can stand a chance to compete with the big industrial giants when this thing breaks.
