I am done with apps for a while and I started working back on the toy ray gun.It has a bar in a tube. Behind the bar is lit triangular shaped region. It is designed so thatwhen you stand about 6 to 10 feet in front of it and close one eye one triangular shapedregion comes into view. The bar hides the other triangular shaped region. If you open the othereye the second triangular region comes into view and bar hides hides behind the first. Open both eyes and you see separate triangular regions with each eye. This fulls the eye. The lit regions are behind the bar; however, the brain puts the lighted area in the front and transposes the lit regions. Wacko I know. Out of the front a ray appears like from a 3d TV. No glasses needed. The ray tends to droop at the end and appears to be about 8 feet long. If you move your head the ray goes in the opposite direction like that of a reflection in a window. The placement of the bar and the shape of the triangular regions has to be adjusted perfectly so that the beam appears to increase in size appropriately as it approaches. That's why the shape is triangular. The effect is quite spectacular once you get it right. It looks a flat glowing transparent tape coming at you. Yes, now I am working on a new toy. I know, get back to cold fusion. I got a new cover it was supplied by Amazon and is quite nice. that my on topic addition.
