I  described this as a "replication," but as you see in my brief report, it
should be called a "verification." Mizuno provided both the reactor and the
mesh. Still, Saito and his students made the calorimeter and confirmed the
excess heat. This is a step forward. Other efforts to replicate have not
worked yet, which is discouraging. Apparently, the experiment is more
difficult than we thought. With this verification, I think we can just
about rule out an error in calorimetry. We can be more confident the effect
is real.

I think Saito et al. intend to do a more independent replication in the
near future.
