The most amazing thing of all in this incredible story is that Tesla has been teetering on failure over and over, not unlike that other company whose name will soon be lost in history - and yet Saint Elon somehow pulls victory from the jaws of defeat ... to the detriment of short sellers. Here is good vid from Bloomberg on the early years - and it does not even include the amazing happenings of the past few years. The acquisition of Maxwell is a great unknown that brings back the vision of EEStor - and the potential advantages of ultracaps. If that tech does pan out soon, then Tesla will have a larger cap than the rest of the automotive industry combined. OTOH ... he has almost been too lucky. What are the odds? It is no wonder many think he is superhuman if not an evolutionary leap.
