Hi,

You have a gold covered insulating box with two gold ornaments on top that are
pointing at one another with a small air
gap between them.

Now you beam a radio signal at the box. The gold covered box acts as an
antenna, and at sufficient wireless strength,
a spark will jump the gap between the ornaments. If the ornaments are not
absolutely identical down to atomic distances,
then one of the two will have a sharper "point" than the other and thus emit
electrons more readily, so the spark gap
acts as both diode and loudspeaker. (A plasma can be used as a load speaker.)
The box itself acts as a resonant cavity
for the sound waves much like the body of a violin or classical guitar.
