Since LENR-CANR began in October 2002, readers have visited approximately 832,000 times, and they have downloaded just over 500,000 papers, as of this week. This year so far, downloads are running at 4,400 papers per week. For the last 3 months of 2005, the rate was 3,700 per week.

Our monthly bandwidth limit is 25 GB:

As of this morning we used 23.6 GB, or 0.8 GB/day, so I purchased an extra 1 GB for $5. That should be enough for this month.

The good news is that somebody, somewhere is reading a lot of papers about cold fusion. The bad news is that this does not appear to be having any effect on public opinion or government policy, although I suppose you never know what could be happening behind the scenes. The Scientific American, Time Magazine, and the Washington Post still assert that cold fusion is a "misdeed" compounded of error, ambition, haste and fraud, and they still refuse to publish one word defending the work by the researchers themselves. Time magazine recently featured global warming. It said that global warming does exist, and that you should "be worried, be very worried." It says technological solutions must be found, but it did not mention cold fusion.
