"In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act."
-- George Orwell

Just more smoke and mirrors to keep the public off balance and distract
attention from the truly important stuff. 911, WMD, Iraq, Gas Prices, Bird
Flu, Marriage Amendment... all have not added up to what they were each
portrayed to be. You play those cards often enough a pattern of behavior
emerges. Poke too hard at any of them and the house of cards falls down.

The key is to not take your eye off the truly important stuff. The power
machine works public opinion to it's own end... not Republican or Democrat or
conservative or liberal. The common denominator is the power brokers at the
root off all these groups. Not collusion or conspiracy between them per se,
but a collective goal to divide and control... they are all harmoniously
pulling on the oars together in unison.

The hot list for a free and strong society:
1) Energy Supplies & Systems
2) Food & Water
3) Manufacturing Capability
4) Civil Liberty
5) Border Security

If the news story don't fit, don't give a spit. 8^)

Howdy Richard,

I think Republican Senator David Vitter said it best, as recently quoted on
CNN.COM:

"I don't believe there's any issue that's more important than this one."

Was he urging congress to discuss plans on how to improve our nation's Energy
supply? No.

Was he urging debate on finding solutions to the thorny Illegal emigration
issue? No.

Was he urging debate on Terrorism and the collection of intelligence against
U.S. citizens? No. Of course not.

He was urging congress to pass a constitutional amendment to ban same sex
marriages. Yes, indeedee, THAT'S what we reeeelly need in this country to make
things right again.

And, oh yes, don't forget that other amendment - to ban flag burning as well!

Our government working tirelessly to make things better for its citizens.

What a gas.
