I am sure there are people who would say that. A top official in the British government once told Chris Tinsley the same thing about cold fusion. However, people who say such things are fools, and they will not be convinced no matter what you do, so I think you should ignore them. If you can make a smaller device more easily at less expense in a shorter time, I recommend you do that instead.

In other words, this advantage is real but it is not worth the trade off. (Assuming a 6 kW machine is substantially more difficult than a 1 watt version.)
