I read through this carefully, and initially also came up with 5/9
as the correct probability, however that is based upon the
"happiness" of electrons. Unfortunately, I don't believe in
electron happiness. The experiment has been personalized in an
attempt to make it more understandable, however in the process key
features of the source, of the electrons themselves, and of the
detector have all been swept under the carpet. This makes it
impossible to determine whether or not the conclusion reached is
the only possible conclusion.
It does however make an entertaining description of the status
quo.
