Me neither, you can dissolve Zinc, or Aluminum beer cans in  a warm aqueous
NaOH or KOH (lye) solution in a steel vessel and  generate H2 like
gangbusters . 
This forms a water soluble Zincate or Aluminate "Catalyst".
