Sean gave a presentation on the history of perpetual motion machines
Tuesday which included a vid of one of their early working models.

The magnetic gradient created by the stator array is changed by
shifting the array in the direction of the axis of rotation at the
correct moment allowing the attractive gradient to help lift the
heavier weight and the repulsive gradient to help push the weight.
The claim is that the energy needed to shift the array is less than
the energy created by the magnetic gradient.

This should be simple enough to test.
