Sunspots ceased to exist for about 100 years around the 1500s. The intensity of the cycles have been increasing in the last 50 years or so. Similarly, global warming has been taking place for the past 10,000 years, although the alarmists are particularly concerned about the past 150 years, not the past 11 years. Dave
