Heck, why make a big deal about it? I would say erase 'em and forget it. Give the man a mulligan, as they say in golf.
I did not know it was possible to erase the archive. I've said some stupid & embarrassing things here that I wish I could take back, although I wouldn't want Bill to go to the trouble to do it.
