This is supposed to use "3.01 l per 100 km." That's 33.2 km/l, or 78 mpg. That's pretty good, especially for a starting product. Next year's Prius is rumored to be over 100 mpg. They have a headstart. I predict that by the time GM tries to make these things Toyota and Honda will be well over 100 mpg, even without a plug-in option.
