It is indeed a shambles. And these results are so strange that I expect most other cold fusion researchers have ignored them. I cannot judge whether these results are valid or not. I think we will only know that if and when they are replicated.

I do not think Jones was questioning the authors' honesty -- only the possibility that this is some sort of mistake, or the result of massive incompetence. But in case anyone wonders about this issue, I think everyone who knows Irina will agree that her personal integrity is beyond question.
