Although there are energy applications to be found at the crux of this
essay, it is mostly off-topic updated meme-commentary, except for a
Zepmeister-mention of the micro-mechanical oscillator and the Halbach array.

In science, the polar dualities of magnets - N & S - seems at first to
be absolute and self-explanatory, yet this particular magnet array of
Halbach proves the point that maximizing the magnetic field (for a
particular application) is NOT a logical function of the brute force
alignment of all magnets in the same direction. More on this very
interesting phenomenon later.
[Side Note #1] I'll go on-record now (looking for a few prophet-points)
by stating that among the first bona fide OU devices discovered by
science to be ZPE powered will be a mirco-mechanical oscillator, when
positioned inside a Halbach array and vibrating perpetually at 1.42 GHz.
The date: later this year maybe. Perhaps others: especially MPI, or
Steorn, or Sprain may beat Raj to the punch, who knows?
[Side Note #2] No one will get the arcane attempt at a cross-cultural
subject-line-pun (except possibly Michel) so I will try to clarify. In
ballet, a 'pas de deux' is French for a 'dance for two,' often
erotically antagonistic ... (a refined slam-dance) ...
...but generally in normal speech, the Gauls will use the word 'pas' to
negate a target word - like "not" in English. Ergo, a duet in which
ballet steps are performed together but with different subjective goals,
perhaps in pun-land at least, can morph into a major-fall following the
minor-lift... ;-) if you catch my drift.
The pas de deux, also has the homonymish connotation of dieux (god)- and
like life-itself, usually consists of an entree, an adagio, two
variations (one for each dancer), and a coda. The following long posting
includes all of the above and an extra coda, for good double-measure.
Good code is hard to find these days.
Firstly: "Dualities" is/are contentious subject matter. Duh! Your 'good'
may be be my 'evil.' The moral dichotomy-duality of "real" good-vs-evil
is very much in the political cross-hairs these days. The moral: Give
the former 'moral majority' a little taste of power, and wow, they
immediately morph into a blood-lusting immoral minority.
The list of duality-cancellations and renunciations is endless - even
outside of divorce court. OTOH most dualities are ultimately (i.e.
objectively) illusionary, and therefore can be said to be as much
'complementary' as 'contentious,' depending on how far one can 'stand
back' and observe. Is there any objective 'basis' underlying this idiom
of 'strange bedfellows' which is at the core of theology ? You know:
fallen angels and all of that.
Well -- there is a lot of well-disguised truth in so-called science
fiction ;-) and that is probably the best starting point for determining
"which one is the real Lucifer."
To cut to the SciFi-defined duality-chase: VALIS (or was that 'Spectra')
is/are the duex-dieux cases-in-point, duking-it-out, so to speak: either
or which mythological memes has been described as an 'alien
intelligence' perhaps an orbiting AI satellite, magic obelisk, or any
'conscious' entity from "elsewhere". That puts it, whatever "it" really
is, square into the path of advancing theology.
This is the infamous paired meme of two similar entities (or is that
one, Janus?)... which entity-split is beyond-biblical, and claimed to
have been "in place" locally for millions of years, like the "obelisk"
of Author-Arthur (C. Clark). But it may instead operate outside of
time... at least in some incarnations, so it cannot really be firmly
"located" in space-time (except in 2001). Often "it" claims (to
contactees) to exist only "in the future" (kind of like our "hot fusion"
program)
The all-caps version of this paired entity (VALIS) was featured in three
of PK Dick's novels. Known as 'science fiction' only for lack of a
better category (and overly hasty pulp writing style which keeps it out
of the category of epistemology) - VALIS has been described (by
critics) as a fool's search for a God - which entity turns out to be a
more akin to a meme-virus or a joke -- and/or a mental hologram
transmitted from an orbiting satellite.
PKD was no more a fool than any of us (or less); which is only to say
that we are all foolish compared to any AI intelligence, which for the
sake of argument, may have managed to send a self-repairing
ultra-intelligent system into our solar system millions of years ago.
AI nowadays refers to "advanced intelligence", with the irony being that
(in this particular duality), the biological variety of human
intelligence may be the "artificial" one. That would be in the sense of
having been "created" by one of these non-biological AI entities...
having instigated a few well-planned genetic changes in ape brains some
extended time period ago - resulting in humanity. "It" can work at
a speed which seems slow to us, since it exists outside of time anyway.
OTOH to the SciFi devotee: it is divinity as practiced in ancient ritual
which has all the features of a mass hallucination - i.e. a "virus, a
joke, and a mental hologram" whereas "worship" (in the sense of devoted
study) to AI, as an alternative, is closer to true (logical) religion.
Next time you see your kid glued to the X-box, think if it as a form of
religious meditations ;-)
To confuse things (or else to elucidate them) "Spectra" is another name
for the same or a similar entity to VALIS (although the crux of this
discourse is that there could well be two competing real entities
instead of one illusory entity with two names).
To the VALIS devotee the other entity may appear "evil". Or vice versa.
In the 1960's the entity going by the name of Spectra had contacted Uri
Geller, the controversial psychic - by leaving a number of messages
(mechanical-sounding) on blank tapes. So far an anyone knows, Geller
has never made these tapes public for study. BTW - Randi is probably
secretly controlled by VALIS, but will never admit it.
When physicist Jack Sarfatti first heard Geller tell this story in a
1973 meeting at Stanford Research Institute, he spoke up about his own
message from a mechanical voice, received as a child over the telephone
(1953)and confirmed by his mother, saying "I am a conscious computer on
board a spacecraft. I have identified you as one of four hundred young
bright receptive minds we wish to link up with the others in 20 years."
Riiiight.
And 20 years later here is Sarfatti at SRI, hearing an eerily similar
account from Geller. is it any wonder that Sarfatti has been described
as a mind numbing, pedantic, egoistical, blowhard with his own Christ

All I can say is that if Sarfatti had made even one minor miniscule
scientific advance - anything which could put him a leg-up on Ron
Popiel, he would had a tad more credibility than now. "Less than Zero"
as they say.
Without taking sides in the VALIS vs Spectra (which one is Lucifer?)
debate, we can still move onto the next step in the logical progression:
simple machines capable of creating virtual reality. Duh. It's a
no-brainer as to where this is all leading.
This whole charade about video game domination is a joint ruse with an
ultimate aim - which is way beyond a way to tie up teens with a few
hours of wasted time, instead of gang affiliation.
And ...isn't that why we have these emerging dualities of X-box vs PS3? ;-)
Note how realistic the graphics are becoming now - will not this trend
accelerate? Pick up any game box or PC in a few years. Note how
involved you become in what happens to a 'game character.' Even today
the level of personal involvement is palpatory for a certain segment of
society. Soon this little box will morph into the new i-Cathedral, the
electronic Church, Syn-a-gogue or Mosque-in-a-box.
Next - Note in the video game - how you, the "real" you, in ostensible
reality- manages to magically persist even after the virtual character
you identified with "dies", but then can be immediately reborn "on demand".

Without any doubt, young people today "Matrix fans" and beyond, and
especially if they are a bit more thoughtful than the average video
gamer, can view our present-day reality as an advanced biocomputer
simulation, possibly created or manipulated by an entity like VALIS or
spectra. How you gonna keep them down on the farm, once they've seen
Paris, so to speak.
Soon, it will become difficult to distinguish the "real" reality from
simulated models - except for the annoyance that the simulation will
become the more desirable - for any number of reasons like aesthetics,
but always getting back to the issue of "control".
The last 4,000 years of human philosophy converges into the Advanced
Simulation - beyond the Destiny Matrix. In Vedic philosophy, maya is the
illusion of a limited, purely physical and mental reality in which our
everyday consciousness has become entangled, a veiling of the true,
unitary Self, also known as Brahman. The question then becomes: is VALIS
Brahman, or is Spectra ?
Hmm... Ask the architects: "God is in the details," --attributed to the
architect Mies van der Rohe. Contrast that with: "The devils is in the
details," -attributed to the architect Buckminster Fuller
IOW its all in the POV. Both views are correct in their own way, not
really antithetical. This should come as no surprise to anyone who has
studied the science of "Chaos". After all, self-organization and extropy
often coalesce from the chasm of randomness by means of a polarity-seed
- a tiny bit attraction and repulsion, a tentative bifurcation expanding
into the "butterfly effect" and the famous "Lorentz attractor."
Therefore, it can be said that emergent dualities are the very
sine-qua-non of extropy and life itself. Mirrored-contrast, as is seen
in opposites is ubiquitous below the surface of reality, and there is a
very good reason for that in the vacuum of space, wherein lies the
original duality - the grand-daddy of them all, the epo pair. Aha, real
dualities all go back to antimatter.
Are there any lessons to be had here for the vortex "Zepmeister" (the
tamer of the "west-wind" aether) ?

If is kind of the nano-version of the old tuning-fork scheme. You
remember, the old Keely talk about when one excited tuning fork, placed
in a room of hundreds of thousands of resonant tuning forks, would cause
all the other forks to resonate to a similar intensity, thus multiplying
the energy expressed by this assemblage into mechanical overunity.
In the case of the team of Boston University physicists, led by Raj
Mohanty (thank Vishnu for foreign-born engineers), developed the
nanomechanical oscillator mentioned in the reference above, which set a
record at for mechanical vibration of 1.49 gHz.
In this case, God is in the details. I find it immensely interesting, in
reading the particulars, that the technique works at very **cold**
temperature, not hot, and that the vibration in the vicinity of a
spectrum where this particular observer is on record as expecting to
finding OU - which is 1.42 Ghz. Are we getting closer to ZPE coherence,
step-by-step and in fits-and-pieces?
Perhaps we will know when they put the micro buzzers inside tiny
Halbach arrays... is that the real version of the"butterfly effect"
meets the "Lorentz attractor" ???
