An engineered virus that is precise enough to target,
say, melanin, may be science fiction at the moment,
but it is certainly the way to go for any government
(terrorists!) looking for a cheap way to commit
genocide against people it doesn't like.
And I don't doubt for a second that it is being worked
on by the US and other first-world governments (for
defensive purposes - you kill us and we will kill
you). Why do you think it is stupid to think that?
